3. Do I have to pay for my uniform?
No! Uniforms are provided by the band, and all members have access to them once they have paid their $40 membership deposit.
4. How much are membership fees?
There is no annual membership fee, however all members are required to pay a $40 refundable deposit. The deposit is returned to members at the end of the year, provided that their assigned uniform, instrument, and other equipment is undamaged.
5. Is the commitment manageable with a full course load?
Yes! Rehearsals are only held once a week and most students find this to be completely manageable with a full course load. Many of our events are on the weekends, when there are no classes! We encourage our members to attend all the events they can, but there are no attendance requirements.
1. When is rehearsal?
MMB meets every week during the school year on Mondays, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at St. Paul's Anglican Church.
We encourage members to attend as many rehearsals and events as possible.
2. Do I have to bring my own instrument?
No! MMB carries an inventory of brass, woodwind, percussion, and guard equipment that members are free to use, provided that they have paid their $40 membership deposit.
