How Can I Join?
General recruitment is typically conducted twice a year, once in September at ClubsFest and again in January at ClubsFest II. At the Band table, members will be available to answer any questions you may have, as well as provide more information. Sign up at the table to join our mailing list! This is how we'll get information to you about the upcoming rehearsals at which you'll meet the other members, the executive team and music instructors.
In addition, recruitment is open whenever the following are on display - posters throughout campus, promotional video in MUSC atrium, info tables, and facebook ads.

The Band requires a small membership fee of $40 for membership ($20 per term which will be returned at the end of the year provided uniforms/equipment is undamaged). Each member will be given a full set of uniform, an instrument if they don't own one, a folio and marching lyre.
Uniforms will be distributed on performance days and should be returned afterwards. MMB provides an inventory of wind instruments and marching percussion. Students are welcome to use their own instrument, but will be provided with one if they don't own one.
